Long

Page Street Performance is a coaching membership, not a fitness app. A named human coach runs an athlete's training, fueling, and mindset as one plan — the three things most people end up managing separately, for themselves — and rebuilds that plan every Monday around the week the athlete actually had. Software is where the coaching lands, never the thing doing the coaching. Founded in 2025 by Ivan Sanz (NASM-CPT and Sports Nutrition Coach, NSCA-CSCS in progress), PSP is founder-coached and deliberately small. Background

What it is

Page Street Performance is a coaching membership for adults who train seriously, not a fitness app. A named human coach holds an athlete's training, fueling, and mindset as a single plan, reads their weekly check-in, and rebuilds the following week from what actually happened. The software carries the plan, the sessions, the fueling, and the coach's replies. It does not do the coaching.

How a week works

The plan lands Monday: training, fueling, and mindset in one brief, written against the athlete's real capacity. They train through the week, with sessions paced one movement at a time. They fuel by a hand-portion plate model — palms of protein, cupped hands of carbs — rather than counting calories. On the weekend they file a five-minute check-in: energy, recovery, stress, sleep, fueling, plus a win and a friction point. The coach reads it, and next Monday's plan is built from it. A bad week bends the plan instead of breaking it.

Who it is for

Adults who train seriously and have been their own programmer, nutritionist, and motivator at once — running three plans that were never written to work together. It is for people who want structure that survives a bad week. It is not for anyone wanting daily motivational push, on-demand hand-holding, or a shortcut.

What makes it different

Most coaching either scales without personalizing or personalizes in ways that don't scale. PSP does neither: one named coach writes the plan, reads the weekend check-in, and rebuilds the next week from it. Training, fueling, and mindset arrive in one Monday brief instead of from three sources that never talk to each other, supported by systems that remove the admin that usually makes real personalization impossible.

Where it started

PSP began in San Francisco, shaped by coaching, technology, and community roots, and is now anchored in Berlin.

Ivan Sanz

Founder & head coach · Strength & conditioning · Berlin
Short

Ivan Sanz is the founder and head coach of Page Street Performance. He writes each plan, reads every check-in, and coaches group classes on a Berlin gym floor each week.

Long

Ivan Sanz is the founder and head coach of Page Street Performance. He spent fifteen years building internet infrastructure before coming to coaching, and he reads bodies the way he read systems: where most people see an effort problem, he sees a configuration one — training, fueling, recovery, and mindset working against each other instead of together. He writes each plan himself and reads every weekly check-in. He has coached 250+ group classes across San Francisco and Berlin, and still coaches on a Berlin gym floor each week. His coaching principles: foundations before intensity, and never fear or shame as fuel.

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer
  • NASM Sports Nutrition Coach
  • NSCA-CSCS in progress
  • 250+ group classes coached across San Francisco and Berlin
  • Ironman 70.3 · CrossFit since 2011

Ivan Sanz writes every plan and makes every coaching decision. Questions about training, nutrition, or health always route to the coach.
